A NEW PRINCIPAL FOR LACrnrnrnrnL-R: Dan Carrasco, Director of Education; Ros Burnett, new LAC PrincipalrnrnMs Ros Burnett was appointed by the Longburn Adventist College Board as Principal last week. She is the first female principal of Longburn’s 114-year history. Ros is originally from Whanganui and attended Avondale College (now Avondale University) to complete her teaching degree. She taught in private and state schools before commencing church employment at ASDAH in 1997. As Assistant Principal at ASDAH from 2010 to 2016, then Deputy Principal at LAC.rnrnShe always wanted to be a primary teacher but was inspired by her biology teacher to become a secondary teacher combining her passion for music as her specialty area.
