The everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ message was to be proclaimed to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. It is very clear that we are commissioned to move out of our existing churches and to reach every group of people. This is to be fulfilled by planting more churches. Ellen White advised, “There should not be a call to have settled pastors over our churches but let the life-giving power of the truth impress the individual members to act, leading them to labour interestedly to carry on efficient missionary work in each locality.” “In no way can a preacher so well prove himself,” James White wrote, “as in entering new fields.... If he be successful in raising up churches, and establishing them, so that they bear good fruits, he gives to his brethren the best proofs that he is sent of the Lord.” Church planting is a must for every pastor. At the Trans-Pacific Union Mission, we have seen the success of church planting first-hand. I hope that by sharing our experiences, I can inspire you to plant more churches in your own communities, as we all work towards fulfilling the great commission.rnrnClick here to download the PowerpointrnrnrnrnMADDY VOINEArnInnovation in Your Local Church Leadership TeamrnMany of us desire a freshness in our churches, a different way – perhaps a more simple and energising way - of ministering to our community. Change doesn’t come easy, but it is possible. What might ministry innovation look like in your local church? How can you make it happen in your leadership team? Perhaps now is the opportunity to revitalise your church with fresh ideas and small steps in a different direction. In this workshop, discover the foundations required for an innovative environment and a proven innovation process you can implement right now.rnrnClick here to download the PowerpointrnrnrnrnSVEN ÖSTRINGrnPlanning for Growth and MultiplicationrnWhen you sensed your call into ministry, were you inspired just to maintain the status quo in a local church? Were you excited about simply keeping ministry wheels spinning? Picture yourself hurriedly trying to fill out a basic church service template sheet at the last minute in the elders’ room before the divine service starts, chairing monthly church board meetings with virtually the same agenda, and having quarterly business meetings that address the same issues time and time again. Is that what Jesus called you to do? Or do you have a vision and desire to see your church grow? Do you feel the Holy Spirit calling you to collaborate with Him in growing the kingdom of God and seeing a thriving Adventist movement in New Zealand and the Pacific? At times you may feel a bit lost as to how to make this happen. Strategic planning is something that many leaders, including pastors and businesspeople, know that they need. However, we can struggle to clarify and put our strategic plan into words. In this workshop, we will be exploring how to create a Biblical plan to grow your church. We will be focusing on how your church can become a disciple-making centre that grows and multiples using the principles that Jesus modelled and taught. Imagine seeing disciples, leaders, small groups and even churches multiply because of your kingdom- building plan. Imagine your church being part of a growing disciple-making movement across NZPUC!rnrnClick here to download the PowerpointrnrnrnrnJULIAN ARCHERrnGrateful Living: Your ticket to 8-weeks without sermon preparation!rnThe local-church-tested, eight-week Grateful Living resources can take your church’s stewardship to the next level, without the members ever feeling like you’re asking for money, because you’re not.
