Sharing is all about building community. Who do you do life with? Who could you do life with? There are three powerful ways to share your Journey with Jesus:rnrn Building Community – simply enjoy living a joyful life with people around, your friends, your neighbours, your colleagues, especially those who are far from God. Doing life together might include sharing a cuppa or meal, going for a run together, playing board games or enjoying a hobby. Anything that involves spending meaningful time with other people is a great way to build community. By doing it we create amazing opportunities to share Jesus with others.rn Reading the Gospels together – another great way of sharing your journey is to use the ‘Following Jesus’ bookmark as a basis for a bible reading and reflection time with the people you are building community with. The great thing about the bookmark is that it takes away the anxiety of leading a group or having to spend time organising something in the lead up to getting together. Anyone can take the bookmark and use it to lead the group through a bible reading, it really is that simple! All you need to do is follow the outline and enjoy the insights and reflections of the group.rn Supporting one another – the true value of a community shines the brightest when we use our common friendships to extend support and encouragement. As we build community, we naturally create a space to offer and receive support through prayer and other practical means. Therefore we find ourselves in a valuable place where we are able to laugh, cry, pray and do life together. God created us as relational beings, so its no wonder that life seems better when we do it together!rnrn
